add void

Found Fridays

There’s a few upside down things in this week’s FF mix; Sufjan Stevens has abandoned his folky space jams to sing hushed backing vocals on a new Chris Schlarb track, Anenon has seriously jacked up his usual style with a jungle-tinged analogue synth jam and Giant Claw – who came to our attention a couple of years ago with the schizophrenically abrasive Tunnel Mind – have wandered into the box marked ‘elegiac theremin compositions’. All good nonetheless, and with new cuts from Aygeetee and Hyetal nestling alongside some slightly older but newly discovered treats from Mary Lattimore and Analog Africa, we’ve got things pretty much sorted.

Image is one of Joel Rea’s hyper-real takes on surrealist painting. Check out more of his fantastic and fantasmagoric work here.
