Dan Friel – Thumper

Since Parts and Labor’s break-up, Dan Friel has thankfully kept making the kind of music you’d hope the former member of one of your favourite noise pop bands would make. Ditching P&L’s guitar onslaught but keeping their joyous, balls-out maximalism, Friel’s new material is built on towering walls of over-driven synths and drum machines, an aesthetic he’s continued in his video for new single Thumper, which you can view below.
