Evan Caminiti – Absteigend (dir. Paul Clipson)

It’s a bit of a no-brainer to put this one up, really. A new track from Evan Caminiti (one half of Barn Owl) set to a sumptuous video by Paul Clipson- who we paid homage to back in September for almost upstaging Jefre Cantu-Ledesma with his visuals at Cafe Oto.

It’s an increasingly taut and murky offering; initially ethereal washes of synth and sirenic guitar giving way to fragments of dissonance and snatched vocal echoes, all framed within Clipson’s monochrome exploration of industrial cityscapes.

Check the video below, as well as another of the tracks from his new album, Dreamless Sleep, which just happens to be out now.
