Jacob 2-2 – Fantasiarexia EP

We’re pleased to see Brooklyn-based Jacob 2-2 has just announced a new EP out on Moodgadget on 1st November, Fantasiarexia. For those who haven’t heard he creates up-tempo dance beats with funk-laden bass lines and twisted 8-bit flourishes. Like if Com Truise were playing Super Mario on the SNES at a Miami beach party. Or something. This offering sees him move into more ethereal slow-dance territory. Hear it for yourself by streaming the entire thing below and get links to his earlier stuff (the Cabazon EP is ace – there’s a track from it further down the page) and news at his newly functioning website here.
