Here’s a couple of tracks from Connan Mockasin, the antipodean (we know big words) blues-pop (we can also do genre definitions) oddity (but we also lead slightly busy lives so fall back on lazy terms like this) whose new album, Forever Dolphin Love, was recently released by Phantasty records. Nothing particularly groundbreaking sonically, but some really lovely songs that recall early Pink Floyd and a more melancholy Bowie. Great videos too. Perfect for a Friday afternoon.
Also, here’s one of their older songs – a brilliant cover of an awful song.
