USF – Jamaica Plain

So, Universal Studios Florida have finally backed down (the band that is, not the theme park), proving that naming your music project after the flagship attraction of one of the world’s most prominent film studios is never really a good idea.

Now known somewhat prosaically as USF, they’ve announced the early Feb release of their new EP, Jamaica Plain, which is streaming NOW on their Bandcamp. Looking at the record’s artwork and title you might expect a little more bogle for your buck, but what it lacks in riddim it more than makes up for in lazy, washed out jams.
