Add Void’s Ten from 2010 #2

This year’s thrown up a veritable bumper crop of quirky almost-pop, ranging from the funky, carnivalesque groove of El Guincho’s ‘Bombay’, through the washed-out, haunted tape fuzz of Outer Limits Recordings’s ‘Plastik Child’, to Autre Ne Veut’s down-tempo, Phil Collins-esque anthem, ‘Drama Cum Drama’. No doubt there’ll be a few in this mix that you’ve heard before, but hopefully it’ll shed light on something that may have passed you by this year and bring a little ray of sunshine into these gloomy, midwinter times.
