The new single from Teengirl Fantasy’s upcoming album 7am has recently been released to get anticipation juices flowing. And if the rest of the album’s going to be anything like the calibre of this there’s plenty of reason to be getting your salivate on. As smooth and dubby as it is hard and funky it hits all those laid-back, deep house, Detroit techno buttons. Slick.
Whilst they’ve got a slightly patchy past record (some fairly ugly electro splurge tracks featured predominantly on their first album) a few of their earlier hits are absolute belters. Here’s a couple of personal faves.
